Also, for some reason this works better on some cars than others (for hoods) the Balt luckily works perfectly (the vinyl automatically trims at the edges of the hood. On others (like the ZR-1) you have you apply the CF (it will overhang onto fenders) and then go back and trim it in using car colored vinyls, to get just the CF hood.

Or you could always go crazy and wrap the whole car, lol.

I'm on season 5 (already lvl 50) and I havent seen it as a season event option.

You can select it from the event list though, there are FWD, RWD, and AWD events broken into HP categories (like 400hp RWD event, etc.) but only 1/8 and 1/4 mile

It's also selectable in multiplayer and free mode, as 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or full mile run

 

I rated it. I need to make a vinyl group to sell to get the achievement.

 

^^Tuning set-ups count too, and are probably easier than vinyls for most. Throw one on there and I'll buy it
