the previous owner welded a freaking fart cannon on the stock catback.. i have no idea why.. but its coming off as soon as I get to a buddy's place so I can weld a stock tip back on and just run a muffler delete.. The previous owner was a GM tech and everything is stock under the hood and the car was very well taken care of but I have no idea why he would replace a nice tip with a fart cannon

thats what I figured.. the owner also did a rather poor job of tinting the tails so I have to fix those and I'd rather just have stock ones.. so I either have to totally refinish and polish the current ones back to stock or just say eff it and find a set of stock tails somewhere at a junk yard for cheap
those are really the only two corrections I need to make, but they are really simple so it wasnt a concern when it came down to purchasing the car

its weird.. I've found out that in my LT I enjoyed passing people more than with my SS (as in I always sped more with the LT).. with my SS, unless I see competition ahead, I kinda just like cruising in the slower lane and let people gawk (its surprising how much I noticed this even though I've only driving it like 3 hours)
vic red seems like a cop magnet kinda color so I can handle sitting on the down-low. gets better mpg too lol

I'd say it's mostly for MPG hahaha. But now your power is evident, you don't need to go fast to prove to others you have an engine; the SS badges and TC wheels let us know.

the rear end is still a work in progress. I want stock tails back on (no tint). then I'm going to remove the bowtie, and the dreadful looking muffler is coming off friday (going to run a muffler delete with stock tip). but for now I took off all the dealer decals and license plate brackets and the black ss inlays. Its getting there

UN-tinted my tails...
2 hours goes by...
another 2 hours goes by.....
sleeper FTW!!!! I love how the stock red tails blend in with the paint. Tint just makes them stand out more n looks tacky imo
