(PICS) Eibach Pro Kit's Installed

It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. This is my second set of pro kits, I had sportlines before. The ride is Identical to stock, but the car is "leveled" out.

Im going with a 19" wheel next month so keep that in mind also.

NOTE**** These photos were takin 15 minutes after install, only drove 1.7 miles on them. Every spring I've had after settled in drop an additional 1/4 inch after drive time, but you'll get an idea.

Here's my old cav on sportlines, they were lower, but drove rougher, and I bottomed out and popped the fender out a couple of times, damn michigan roads!

This drop is perfect for me for the 19's im going with. I'll make sure I post pics when they're on.

The lowering kit did a great job evening out things. It doesn't look like it dropped it too low so bumps shouldn't be an issue. Nice job!

It doesn't look any lower than stock, if you ask me. Hmmm..maybe I should look at my car first, then compare your pics. It just doesn't look any different to me.

You may want to rethink on who you can sell those wheels to at least, since the base is a 4x100 pattern. I'm not sure if everything else would fit or not.

He's right. The SS/SC rims have a 5x110 bolt pattern so they will only fit 2006 SS's (SC or N/A).

yeah, it might be the angle of the shots, but to me it almost looks higher.

and has anyone else noticed that the stock SS wheels look a little fake from the side... must be the flash on the camera. I've seen it on many pics, not just these

The car actually sits a bit lower in the rear. As was said before, the car is nicely balanced now - IMO.

Thanks man, again, I liked the stock front height, it was the rear I didn't like. Now the car looks how is should.

I completely wasn't thinking about the wheels either, you are all correct. I'll have to sell those seperate.

I'll keep you all posted on the updates.

With 19's that'll definitely look nice

I'm gonna be sticking with 18's and I want the thing dumped. Guess I have to wait for coilovers.

Nice Job

I know you said it doesn't cover the holes in the trunk lid. Could you PLEASE snap a pic, to show how much it does cover?

Thanks, LOOKS GREAT!!!

When I do recieve my new wheels, I can gaurantee that it'll be just over HALF of what the dealer sells them for.

I think the sportlines would look perfect. They are soppouse to be lower than the pro kit.

they are lower than the pro kit but the pro kit will be better for him since he will be putting 19's on it and is concerned about ride quality.

I plan on going with the eiback "pro damper" shocks, which are designed to work along with the pro kit springs. I will order their swaybars at the same time.

I was also thinking Koni shocks, but will more than likely go with the Eibach settup.

The pro kits do not lower the front at all and only drop the rear .5 inches. If you want to lower it then get the sport lines. Eibach told me the pro kits do not lower the front at all and provide the same spring rate as the stock SS springs. Very stupid to deceive customers that way. I cancelled my pro kit order this morning and have sport lines coming instead. so pro kits give no added stiffness and the sportlines add about 15% more stiffness. Pro kits are more or less stock SS springs.

I've had every spring in the book. And the pro kits are the best handling spring out there. I had sportlines on my 03 cav I just sold, prepare to bounce away even with different struts.

Again we all know how well the ss handles from the factory, the rear end just looks to high. This levels the car out and it's definitely more firm believe me. These are the best springs for performance, the sportlines sit lower but ride alot worse. I had two cavs one with sportlines and one with pro kits and the one with pro kits handled twice as good easily. Once my 19s go on it will look perfect and handle awesome. To each their own though right? Everyone is entitled to their preference!
