(PICS) Eibach Pro Kit's Installed
#26
I had pro kits on my 04 Z24 and the ride was nice. I just figured that if I want lowering springs they should actually lower the car right? As the tech guy at Eibach said "the pro kit springs offer no additional spring rate to the SS". Kind of confused me lol. I have both sets of springs sitting here in my room and as soon as I decide which set to put on, it's out to thte garage for me. Hell I may even try them both lol.

What a difference a set of springs can make . I'm assuming by looking at your Cavalier and now what your're doing to the SS that you don't drive your cars in the winter? If you do...how in the hell do you keep them in such flawless shape .

this was the pro kit??
it looks the same to me, the back end looks better.. not so high up. but generally it doesnt look much lower..
but for ride quality i bet it doesnt compare to the sport.. i bet the sport is bumpy..
do you know off hand how low the sport line will drop a cobalt?
i have heard 1.7in and that the pro drops it 1.1in
true or false?

For non SS/SC the drop is prokit = 1.4 front, 1.6 rear. Sportline = 1.6 front, 1.8 rear.
For SS/SC the prokit = no drop in front, .5 inches in the rear. Sportline = 1 inch in front, 1.3 in the rear
