That being said heathkidder's G5 is one of the nicest cars appearance wise on this site...

One other question still remains. Does anyone know of rims that have a decent size lip and still work on the SS? Maybe like a black spoke chrome lip>

 

I've heard different things... some people say they can, most say they cant.... Who knows... it really could just be up to whether they care or not... But honestly... once you get the mod bug it will never end... Caring about a warranty doesnt work when you want to go fast. When I was basically stock I HAD to fight to get them to take care of some things under warranty... It's all a game

And in regards to the respecting vehicles, some respect is common sense. Just like it would be dumb for me to go on a GTO website and tell them one of their vehicles rims are "ghey". A because the website is a GTO website and B because a stock GTO has bigger *****.

This is true but common sense says I wouldn't go on their website and post that especially in such a downgrading way, and not expect a strong response from the person asking for opinions and the gto community. Think about it.

It all depends, if they are asking "what do you guys think?" and you go in there and say what you think, respectfully, then there is no problem with that, you are ASKING for opinions... but if they dont ask and you just say, hey thats dumb, then thats different.

Well for a G5 its the best one IMO, I just personally like all the mods you've done. Especially the hood lol.

basically anything other than that GMS1 tune there isn't anything you can do to NOT void the warranty. Any and all bolt ons will void it. I'm pretty sure that if you go with another tune you will over ride the GM one

 

I could tell you how your hood looks... but then again my spoiler sometimes gets in the way when looking in my rear view...

 

OP - if you post "please tell me what you think" don't expect to get opinions from only 1 type of car owner (SS/TC)... you're gonna get opinions from people with base model LS cobalts all the way to the dude with the Cobra.. and just bc somebody doesn't have "as good" of a car as you performance ORRRR visual wise.. doesn't mean they can't spill their opinion of your car ESPECIALLY when you asked for it to begin with...
Honestly, I'm not a fan of G5's never have been, never will be... but his car is clean, he has an excellent reason for purchasing that car (literally building the car from nothing), and is honest that its not fast... But i would still take his opinion, because i can tell the guy has taste and a likely valid opinion
