yea, that's really wierd then, cause you actually have some healthy top end, and his top end sucks. I don't know what it is.

you would still pick up quite a few mph if you put your cooling mods on. You'd see it all over your powerband too. I trap 3mph higher than you in the 1/8th, but the same as you in the quarter, and I'm on slicks. I'd actually pull you pretty good in a roll race, I trap 103 on street tires.

Get those cooling mods on there and rip that ss/tc a new one. lol.

I know, I have been reading from time to time about your exploits concering the cool..., it's just hard to find the time and help to do it right. If I had launched quicker(he left 4 tenths of a second before me), I would have beat him down the track. But the cooling mods are next in line.

yea, at the track, you can beat someone soley from leaving the tree before him. even if you run slower. but who cares about reaction time, you just trying to get the best e.t. possible right? throw those cooling mods on. you won't regret it.

I still need to figure out the best way to launch the car. I ran three times yesterday. The two times I slipped into the throttle and tried to modulate through first, my 60ft times were at ~2.53. The one time I tried to dump the throttle at 2300, I had a 2.36 60ft, but getting over 4000, caused wheel hop and I got off of the gas right after it started.

**** that, go get some drag radials or slicks, I got tired of trying to launch on street tires a long time ago. Even when I go out on the street to race, I got the slicks on. Mine are a DOT approved slick. So I use them like that. The only I really have my stock wheels and tires on is daily driving to and from work.

I have nexen n5000, that came with the rims on my car now. I might get those tires with my stock rims after I get them painted.

I recommend the bfg kdw 2's, I don't have experience with them, but I have a few friends with them and they pull rediculous launches for street tires.

wow those 60 foots have got to come down for both veh. the ss/sc and ss/tc are both 13sec cars. has anyone tried turning off the traction control all together on the ss/tc and not launching... I bet the car would run better this way.... damn I need my ss/tc already!!!!!!!

he tried but he can't keep the tires from spinning. I just need some slicks and more practice.

that's what everyone said about the ss/sc, and it's true, but fwd+shitty street tires just make it really hard.
