See I dont understand.

1. The wing is non functional, blocks the rear view
2. Two tone paint?
3. KC lights....ok?
4. So I need TC grills and LNF wheels?
5. A hood, which btw I had one like that and got slammed for it.
6. Roof mounted lights?

How other than....the lack of lights, wing, and two tone paint does that make sense?

That pic also has.................MUD FLAPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Help me please!

You need to cut all the plastic venting out and replace it with grill for air flow. You really need to get a good set of coilovers to really rally race and I would suggest redoing all the bushings in the suspension.
Also whatever the hell that is hanging from underneath your engine compartment needs to be moved or re-routed somehow. Also like said before you need some kind of undercarriage protection for your exhuast, brake, and fuel lines.

im okay with it. Would love to see the final product. Perhaps he maybe on to something. What if the Cobalt is the Ultimate fwd rally car? No one would ever know until somebody pioneers it and gets burned by the community for it. But guess what... if it is a great rally car, everyone is gonna be mimmicking that pioneer and asking him questions on how he did this or that and whats the best way to do blah blah blah.

The community will even grow as people start buying cobalts to rally race.

nope, no rally expeirence, just drag, time attack and autox. But since i have a +20 offset on my rims they stick out abit so the flaps are staying since i dont want the side of my car to get sand blasted.

The bushings will play hell on you if you dont proactively work with them now. Think about all those people having to replace those bushings since the rubber will wear out just being street driven. I dare say solids but poly should work as long as the poly isnt used on the control arm bushings. You dont want to get too mushy on your springs it will hinder you. You can put lights were it would perform a function drive the car and see where you would need the extra illumination then, if you run the mesh through the whole front bumper where the fake venting and plastic parts are you have lots of mounting option on the bumper support.

That is not a word you want to use if you are going to rally race, just my 2 cents

This sounds like a horrible idea lol. Sounds like the project will
Never be done and the car will be sold with half ass **** everywhere. Also do you even live anywhere near somewhere to rally or have a trailor to tow your bad idea??? Or have a lot of money to fix all the rims you will bend/ windows you will smash/ parts you will break/ body panels that will be dented??

Yeah

I replaced the megan with a stainless works 3 chamber muffler and I love it sounds alot better, and I was not trying to be clever but in all honesty u have a cobalt ss its a really nice car and u made it look like a hack job putting on an ls unpainted bumper, u need to order the right bumper and get it painted.

I like it, I'm sure you've seen the xgames ion from back in the day. So it can definitely be done. Wondering if the HHR suspension might give you more clearance than the LT springs...
Or if you have the cash for coilovers and just raise them as much as you can.

Buuuuahhahahahhahaaha......*ahem*

I think where I have gone wrong is calling it a rally style. Either way, IDC.

For the 4th, yesterday with wife and I with out 2 yr old....went to the beach. I saw a nice side road with soft beach sand (we live like 15 mins from the ocean so yeah!)......cobalt drive it with no problems. I need more lift though as it dipped a couple times and I heard some rubbing (prolly from flaps lol)............drove perfect and was fun as hell. Got some odd wtf looks but the car drove perfect! FUN!
