the story behind my name "salvageSS"

well as some of you know, early this year I bought a 2006 Cobalt LS from an insurance company after a car behind it caught on fire and teh trunk of my car burned.
I always loved the cobalt and it was a great candidate for a project.

Maybe my name mislead you to think its an SS however my plans are to make it faster than an SS.

so enough with the talking and ill let teh pictures do the rest of the talking:

When i picked it up

I bought Trunk / wing / Bumper of a 2006 SS:

SS Front Bumper & Lip from Dealer

At the body shop:

Side bottom rockers are being painted as well as the SS 2 tone WING.
I also got some nice 17" rims "Black with polished lip"
Yesterday i installed the Eiback Sportsline.

Once the car is out of the shop i have the SoundSystem ready to go in...

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think

its turning out well man, what else you planning on? im impressed with the progress. there is a guy here with one that has the same paint scheme, except it looks like he spray painted it. yours looks a milion times better. i think yours could benefit from a thin silver line in between the yellow and black

Exhaust "I dont know which one yet"

It looks good man, but was it just me or is there a small yellow line on the trunk, right under the window. It looks a little off since the rest of it is black.
But ill keep an eye on this one.
