Sux to see this. His work started out good. This is what happens when someone gets greedy. He took on more than he could handle. There's really no reason for MiniH1 retros to take more than a day. 2 at the VERY MOST. I'm sure that he's not refunding it because he's long spent that money.
What are the details on this $1000 retro? What car? What projectors?
That's a crazy high amount. BIG retrofit businesses like Lightwerkz charge those kind of prices but they have years of experience and satisfied customers to back up their prices.

They were TLs with orbit shrouds in cobalt headlights. For $1000 OEM bulbs and ballast should have been used, not sure if they were though.

Ok after seeing those pics, this is a MINOR issue. Super easy to fix. It looks like it's only the shroud that fell off from the pics. That repair would take no more than an hour. Jeeze.
I don't wanna be mean but do it yourself and ask for a partial refund for your troubles.
His not communicating is unacceptable...but this is a very SMALL issue.
If $1000 is including shipping to Canada then I'd say that's a reasonable price too.

Hopefully he fixes this.

It's not the fact that it's a minor issue, it's more the fact that he paid $1050 for these lights only to have them get to him in this condition, if you spent $1000+ on a part you wouldn't want it sent to you broken would you?

It's not a minor issue. The shroud bumping around scratched the housings. The halo is broken. I have waited 6 months.

So, so far..
Repaint Headlights
Repaint Shroud
New Halo
Another 3 months of waiting.

If it's what it looks like from the pics....yes.
Open the light, glue the shroud back on, reseal, done.
I've done retrofits so I'm not just talking out of my ass.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Point is that dude spent 1k+ on them, was lied to, put off, and received not even a decent product, but broken.
The moron couldn't even electrical tape the wiring in the back at the least. I mean it's like 50 cents a roll and would've hid his rats nest that he charges 1k for.

Didn't see the halo. Honestly though. This is minor. The shroud fell off and caused some damage. It would be an easy fix. If I were in your shoes I'd ask for a couple hundred back for the trouble he caused you and fix it yourself.

Also another thing I didn't expect after paying that much was lack of sealant. These bitches would get a **** load of moisture in them..

Or he could get a refund after waiting 6 months, and take his business to Maven. Who should be the supporting vednor

The reason for paying $1050 in the first place was so I didn't have to do it myself. That's the reason we buy products.....

Please explain what you're trying to say by the bolded part.. because I think you're being extremely disrespectful about something and if that's the case I will not stand for it.

Also, if you read you would see I did post both links.

Yeah that would definitely be an issue. I used the OEM boot and some silicone to seal my TL retro.

Trying to hard to be cool? By saying the truth? Uh I think not, and I'll probably keep talking so you can by all means STFU.

This became personal when it became Greg. <3
