True rear coilovers for the Chevy Cobalt
Do you have a Chevy Cobalt? Have you searched everywhere only to find that there are coil-over kits available, but not true coil-overs for the rear of your car? Our Fabricator had the same problem and found a way, through creating his own pieces and parts, to make it happen. He is willing to do the same for you! We now offer true coil-over conversions for the Chevy Cobalt for $150.00.

and just what has been done to strengthen the body so the shock mount can support the weight of the car? putting together a set of coil over shocks is easy, and there is a reason nobody does it.

JBP made rear coilovers like this guys ~10 years ago. I never knew anyone that bought them and JBP would never answer that question.

you just have to make sure there is enough room for the coilover to fit where the shock mounts. A number of other cars that have springs separate from the shocks have true coilover conversions available from various companies. the 350 z is one of them. I've researched this extensively. I've been driving my cobalt on true rear coilovers and it rides fine. there are other cobalts that have true coilovers in the rear. so I don't believe I'm the first.

Even the time attack car didnt run something like this.
What are you using for bumpstops? Have you measured your travel in correspondence with the fronts. What shock are you using and whats the travel range, spring rates, etc etc.
You didnt post any information that tells me how this will perform and why i should buy it.
