Went another new direction... lmao
Welp I guess after 3 cars in 6 months hopefully this one will stick around a lil bit.
After searching and searching trying to decide what I really wanted...
1.) something that got better than 15mpg average
2.) still fun to drive
3.) AWD or RWD
Just so happened to get traded in at my dealership so I went to take a look.
Test drove, fell in love. Bought it the next work day!
2008 Dark Gray Metallic Subaru Sti
40k on the clock
full service records
and completely 100% unmolested other than new tires and brake pads!
And after a week of driving the car is fantastic going to be some getting used to from the oooooh so luxurious Audi but I think I'll get the hang of it.

I love the color. The hatchies are pretty cool, but I've been seeing the sedan ones around here lately and I'm shifting more that direction haha. I want an STi so bad!

but nice find i'm guessing you got a killer deal on it
and yes get that car retuned and i'm guessing you already did a compression check before you bought it, but yeah for those of you that don't know 07-08 was just a bad year for STi's the factory tunes were horrible, motors popping left and right stock, mainly ringland issues
i still love the s4 even more when you put BLQ's on it lol

Yeah the stock tune is set to run really lean for emissions reasons and the motors pop like that episode of Family Guy where Bryan and Peter put all the pregnant girls hands in warm water.

For anyone interested, this article written by my good buddy Wes Dumalski kinda gets into the STi stock tune file crap a bit and how much better a good simple tune is for the car. We were at AMS for this. Was a great time...
