So I finally decided, that Im keeping my car since my job sucks and Im still in college.

Not gonna do any major performance mods, so I guess just appearance.

Here is my car as it sits.

what color should I paint the rims?

Thinking either gold or white?
Or a different color

I know it would look better lowered but Im on sportlines, stock struts and shocks. Not trying to pay a lot for coilovers

I think gold, or a dark bronze would look good.

I think they have a kit where you can mix any colour you want. Have to use a spray gun to put it on though.

I didnt see your link, yea I just posted that link also. Yea that color looks nice. I know off topic but would adjustable struts get rid of the wheel gap I have left or would I have to get coils?

I just saw that lol
Adjustable shocks and struts are only for dampening, not ride height. If you want lower I would go for SSC springs. They have a nice drop, without spending the big bucks for coils.

I think so, but I could be wrong. I haven't paid much attention since I got my coils.

Either way would work. I used the dip because it's cheaper and it doesn't get rock chips like paint does.
The base model doesn't look that bad. You have the better bumper with fogs at least.

Yep mine is an LT. I wanted the SS look, but this grew on me after a while and now I'm happy. Well almost, I lowered it about 3 inches all around and it still looks like a 4x4 lol

The tow hook? Thanks I hope I never have to use it lol Yep I just haven't put anything in my profile. Have a K&N short ram, Badmab header, ZZP downpipe, 2.5" catback, TWM short shifter, and Stance GR+ coilovers. It's still slow, but not as bad lol

haha I had megan race drift catgback and injen cai but sold them both because I thought I was selling my car but backed down because I didnt want car payments. So just gonna do appearance mods. Those coils are pretty pricey.

Oh true, yea the performance mods aren't really worth it unless you go SC or TC. I tried to start with parts that I could still use with an SC setup one day. And ya, the coils aren't cheap, but I've heard nothing about good things about them. I wanted to do it right. Plus they get the most low so once I get the ***** to do it, I still have 2 inches or more to go

Sc will be fun for sure. I just bought a sunfire with a 3.8 SC, it's crazy, I have no need to make the balt faster now lol I paid around $1200 before taxes and shipping. THM was having a sale last year.
I don't think there will be any more sales on them brand new, as far as I know Stance is not making them for Cobalts anymore.
