Yellowstone/Snowmobiling pitures (56k i doubt it)
Me and my dad (had to through him up here he's footin the bill) on top of one of the highest places you can take a snowmobile( called 2 Top Mtn)
On top of 2 Top Mtn
Our group in Yellowstone park
****** BUFFALO!!! (ate some of him later that night though )
Me ready to ride the 2-strokes finally
Abanden airfield next to the trails with 2 Top mtn in the background
One of the trails we ride the 2-stokes on. I got it up to 82mph through there.
The first day we run 4-strokes in Yellowstone park (max out at 55ish)due to the hippies and gov regulations, and the next two days we ride 2-strokes (mostly 600cc) on a bunch of trails. It didn't take me 5 min after we got our 2-stokes that i hit a jump crooked and through myself off . Just got done with out first day of the 2-strokes so we got one more day left. And now i'm off to the hot tub with a crown -n- 7 to ease the pain. I'll post more pictures we i get back of the last day, i'll get some taking some sweet jumps.

here's a few more pics with the 2-stroke sleds. The green ones(M6's 600cc) are more mountain sleds, longer spikes on the track, the orange ones (crossfire 6's 600cc) are a hybrid trail/mountain sled.

Wow that looks like fun! My parents have done yellow stone a couple times (before the hippies got to it though )
What four strokes were you guys on? The one I was riding (polaris sucks but the IQ600 rides sweet ) broke down on me yesterday in the middle of a lake. Good thing my buddy just happened to come along at that time and helped me limp it to shore.
Now i'm back to my ZL 600.... it's an alright machine, has lots of *****.... but doesn't ride as nicely as the four stroke IQ 600

I agree i'm very lucky i have the opertunity to do this. When your riding thourgh the valleys in yellowstone and the surrounding areas and you look up and see snow coverd mountains all around all i can say is Wow that's bad ass.
The 4-strokes are artic cat 660's tourning i think (they are slow and rentals so i don't pay to much attention). They may be limited i'm not sure cause of the 45mph speed limit in yellowstone, but they deffinatly don't have the ***** like the 2-strokes. Some of the people we go with have for the past 15 years. Only in the past 3 years do you have to have a guide in yellowstone park and a 4-stroke, which sucks cause the trails in the park are twice as wide as outside and i've heard stories of them running 90mph+ wide open in yellowstone going around the big ass lake.
Our guide told us about you crazy MN and canada folks who like to ride accross lakes. You can't do that in yellowstone, too many hotspots under neath the lake cause a lot of week spots in the ice. He did say if you hit a unfrozen lake or river at about 60-70 you can skip across it as long as you don't let it hop around too much and dip the nose in.
But if anyone ever gets the chance to do this take it, its so much worth it. I think it cost us about 1500 each for everything, includeing lots to eat and lots of alcohol, Plane from Indiana to Montana, suburban rental, everything. If my pops wasn't payin it all for christmas i'd gladly put up the 1500 in a heart beat. btw just got back from being out so all of this might not be very legable. goin to bed will post more pics prolly sunday since saturday is our last day riding and we don't leave till late sunday evening.
