04 LSJ Need help car goes into limp code
Hi Guys,
I just completed an engine swap and I'm having a problem with the car going into limp mode and throwing the code P0068 and also a P2229.
There are also some other pending codes it was throwing but I dont remember them right now and Im at work. I also was able to get a freeze frame of the pids when the code was set. Il update those when I get home.
P0068 Throttle Body Airflow Performance ECM
P2229 Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor Circuit High Voltage ECM
Is the Barometric sensor the same thing as the map sensor on these cars?
Since I am throwing a Map/Baro code along with the P0068 is the Map most likely the culprit? I called the GM dealer and they said that their diagnosis tree says to replace teh Map sensor first and if thats not it to then replace the PCM. Just want to confirm that it sounds like a map issue before I spend the $60 on a new sensor.
From reading on here it looks like the P0068 code could be from a few different sensors, TPS, Map, SC inlet pressure, and MAF. I think I had a few of these sensor codes pending which is why I am confused but the only hard code that wasnt pending was the Map/Baro circuit high.
Any help or insight is much appreciated.
