Remove and reinstall the fuse? Or did you do that during the process of you checking it? Not sure why the radio woudln't work.

If powering it up after removing the fuse doesnt work it may end up needing a radio. Sometimes theyll come out of it. try unplugging the radio and waiting like 10 minutes and plug it back in and try again. Ive had that work before testing for that same problem. The fuse by your battery is probably the 150A Mega fuse. Basically what supplies the power to your fuse blocks. Saves your wiring if you accidently jump start it backwards and things of that sort.

Ive unplug my radio and let it sit and Ive taken the fuse out to let it sit for like 15 min but it didn't work and now i just found out that when changing a battery if you don't let it "decharge right" the radio will think its getting stolen and lock itself up sooooooo now i need to pay $50 for a GMC certified technician to to unlock it.

Ive put in alot of batteries in my day as a Certified GM tech and have never heard of that, or had a problem either. Come to Sioux Falls, SD and I'll do it for nothing!

Actually I'd do it for a Wendy's Frosty, its hotter than hell here!

He's talking about like that 90's JDM **** where the radio locks you out, lol. Basically, that doesn't happen anymore anywhere.
If you need a stock 2006 SS Radio, I got one that you can have for $40 shipped to your door.

Take a power tester and test the terminals at the radio fuse to see if it's getting power to eliminate the probability of power going to the radio, maybe it's the radio itself
