12v source
Where is a good 12 volt source that turns on with the key that i can access without tearing anything apart? looking under the glove box i can see the radio wire harness, anything there?
if not, does the cover over the fuse box just pull off? i tried but i was afraid that if i pulled too hard it would snap.
quick simple solutions are appreciated as i am not looking to get too involved with this.
Thanks in advance.

The fuse box cover just pulls off........dont worry you wont break it.....pull out at the bottom and towards the rear of the car and then again at the front of the panel....then there are 2 tabs at the top of it that just slide out.......You can get all kinds of power sources from the fuse panel including ignition activated ones, constant power or ones that stay on untill you open the door......You just need the proper fuse taps to do this......there are also some unused slots in the fuse panel you can tap into if you want and if you have the proper connectors...........This should help you out.....Later

Thanks for the help highrider. Just one more question. Does anybody have a good spot for a ground under the dash or in the fuse box area on the passenger side?

Put a fuse tap on the sunroof fuse in the fuse box on the passenger side, but ran out of sunlight looking for a good ground so I could not test my work yet.

I've also seen people use a "bullet" terminal and tap into power from the driver's fuse box directly. The only ground I use is the engine ground which may be in a different location for the cobalt. It's not hard to wire from the driver's side to the engine you just knot the wire a telescoping magnetic pickup and push it through the grommet to the firewall then retrieve it from the engine comp, but you should use a split loom to protect and cover the wires at least in the engine comp. I don't know of any DECENT ground inside the car but I'm sure there has to be at least one.
