2008 front right turn signal won't blink

I have a 2008 Pontiac g5 2 door coupe

when I installed my projector headlights it seemed like my right turn signal stopped working
I get the 'fast blink' on the dash

today I switched the bulb and that didn't fix it

left turn signal works
both rear signals work

right parking light turns on but won't blink
I've read of switching the hazard relay switch behind the dash?
or new bcm?

anyone else ever have this issue and fix it?

Start checking wires, make sure they are all connected - easy to knock something loose wedging the lights back in......

You could try plugging the stocker back in, see if the signal works again - if it does, you may have a bum socket on the new light.

Did you check to see if you're low on blinker fluid?

maybe ill try that

I always thought I was using the old sockets but I just checked the back of my oem headlight and the sockets are all there

would corrosion in the socket make it light up but not blink?

If it was corroded enough it would not light at all.

Don't forget, the bulbs in the turn signals (front AND rear) have 2 filaments in them - they are like 2 seperate lights in the same glass bulb. One of the filaments is for the park / running lights only, the other is for the turn signal (and drl on earlier Cobalts) on the front, turn and brake on the back.

Since you tried swapping bulbs already, my money is on a bad connection or a defective "vely hi quarity" made in China light.

Good luck!
