Ok, got my car back yesterday about the ABS light, and they could not find a reason or cause for it. All my sensors are fine. I told them about the information on this thread and they confirmed that snow build up near the wheel speed sensor is indeed the most likely cause of this during snowy conditions. There is probably nothing wrong with you brake system, it's just a result of the weather. Hope this helps.

I haven't figured out why, but my gf's 05 LS just started doin this today too. Her car has been sittin in the garage for a week and she said it came on randomly. I drove it and it comes on after you get about 30-50 feet down the road. I guess it could possibly be snow/rocks/dirt or whatever getting caught in the sensor...i hope

So yeah i guess her dad seems to think that the puppies that stay in the garage chewed on the ABS wires. I just don't see how they could reach them...They are good sized dogs but i just dont see how they could get in there

this happened to my car for the first time today. Always been able to stop in the snow, the abs light came on, i completely spun out. My question is are the abs sensors optical or mechanical?
