Get factory intake from home and go to the dealership and reinstal it ASAP, BEFORE they get to pop the hood. Muffler delete wouldn't cause it to be anything other then loud.

I don't think it would, but the point is why give the dealership ANY ammo to use against you to try to void the warrenty? Just wait you'll get the standard M&M act crap line from someone on here telling you the dealership can't void your warrenty or you can sue them and blah blah blah blah blah! But seriously WHY let it go that far if you can help it? And a law suit is gonna cost you time and money and you'll have no car during the whole thing also! Play it safe, just go get the factory **** and stick it on so they can't say BOO to you.

Looks like you got a late night ahead of you don't it? Seriously, why bother to even risk it if you can avoid it? It may be a fight you could win but its so much easier to not have to fight at all.

know the Magnuson Moss warrenty act. if the dealer gives you any flak about the intake or muffler delete ask them specificly what the problem is with the vehicle and specificly how the aftermarket parts caused the problem. if you know what your talking about its easy to see through a service managers stupidity, and if they think you know what your talking about they arent going to push you around. now if the aftermarket parts in question did actualy cause the problem (all an intake can cause is a MAF code, nothing that will put the vehicle into shut-down), your claim will be denied.

as for the problem itself, off the top of my head all i can think of that would cause an emergency shutdown is a problem within the PCM or very low of high fuel pressure which would be a problem with the direct injection pump.

this problem isnt caused by your "hahn" intake and its not caused by your muffler delete. thats for sure. but i dont know what it could be caused by so my knowledge ends there. good luck

on a side note - if they even TRY to begin to tell you its your intake or muffler delete you need to tell them that there is no possible way on earth that could be the cause and you seriously need to act like you know for a FACT that its not the intake. intakes dont do that anyway so you wouldnt be lying. they will try anything to void your warranty. not all dealerships are like that but ive dealt with 3 dealerships in my cobalts life and 2 out of the 3 tried to tell me my mods (intake and catback) were the cause of my problems (blown engine). good luck again and dont let them get to you if they try to pull that. and as always, keep a cool and know what your doing. dont argue to hell and back, keep respect in the game.

i typed way too much
