Air conditioning blows warm - SOMETIMES
Works fine half the time...every so often it blow warm air for 20-45 seconds then the compressor kicks on and the air begins to cool again....
Ialready replaced the AC Relay....Iwas hoping it is just the AC pressure sensor but wanted to ask if anyone has a similar problem and had any luck with it before I pay $35 for the sensor plus refilling the lost refridgerant....

are your electric fans coming on? If the fans do not come on you can get warm air since not enough air is moving across the condenser. Also make sure you have a fully charged system. The pressure might be high enough for the compressor to come on but after a little while, the low side may drop enough in pressure to engage the low pressure switch. The pressure eventually evens out and the compressor will come on again.

Well I put a can of ArcticFreeze in it but the pressurre only went up a couple of psi and then it blew mostly warm air and the comprssor would kick on and off over and over. I bled out a bunch of air through the low side port after that the AC has been ice cold and stayed cold and the compressor is kicking on and off when it should. Hopefully thats the end of it.....

If it stops working only in traffic, check your fans. your electric fans should be on when the AC is on.
and to the OP. Maybe you did just have low pressure, but you should hook your car up to either a machine with high/low gauges or a gauge manifold set and check your pressures. might not be a bad idea to have the system vacuumed and recharged with a leak detection dye so it can be checked for leaks.

Well it started blowing hot air again. Noticed it only happens during the hot weather and found that there is a recall that fixes some fan wiring and replaces the AC pressure sensor....
