Air Leak Help?

so i have an air leak on the drivers side and i have do idea where its coming from and its starting to annoy the **** out of me.

do you guys know of any air leak hot spots and what to do about them?

This may sound dum but you need something to pinpoint the air leak so heres my suggestion.
Take a empty paper towel roll and hold it up to your ear and cover the other one and as your buddy drives the car around try to zone in on the location of the leak.

Where do you think its coming from,is your window up all the way.

you could also use smoke along the door seam to see where the air is flowing

im sure my window is all the way up.
its not too horrible and it definitely doesnt leak water but i wish it was just silent. what is this smoke technique i hear of and whats the best way to go about doing it?

I have the same problem. Took it in a few times, but apparently it's something that's not easy/possible to fix. Is yours a Sedan as well?

yea im going to tell them when i take it in to have a few things fixed since i still have bumper to bumper like:

horrible alignment, my front wheels are set back in the wheel well (i think thats camber?) and....
front left speaker has faulty wiring, i would do it myself but i cant figure out how to remove the window roller downer haha i have manual windows

oh and i have a coupe.

A tip I saw a while back was to take a $5 bill, fold it in half (lenth wise) and with the window rolled down, shut the door ON the bill. Slide the bill along the weather stripping moving it in and out of the car as you move along the stripping. Where the resistance on the bill is noticably lighter, that's where your leak is.

You can get stuff to build up the stripping (they go behind the exisiting stripping and push it out some more).
