Another Recall

Just got another letter today. They are recalling the fuel pump return port now on 06 and further models. I'm going to my GM dealership on Wednesday.

Same for Me, I have a recall letter about Fuel Pump. Everytimes when I start my car and I can smell fuel then it gets warm up then it goes away. I don't know if that's normal. I will bring my car to Dealership Monday and get it check out.

I bought it used so I wont likely get the letter. Not sure if I should even look into it because I have a return style.

DAMMIT
I just fixed that last month(new acdelco pump/module assembly)

If it is what I think it is, The return nylon at the pump cracked right where the barbs are from the pump
-if you understand what I'm saying.

hmm...if I get the letter, I wonder if I can get reimbursed for it...

You will if you have receipts showing you paid to fix to recall.

I bought mine used from a dealership. Doesn't matter if you own it and it's in your name, you're entitled to the recall. If you have the stock pump on still, take it in.

And yes, you will get reimbursed. States that in the letter. Hope you still have your slips showing you paid for that ****.

Rub gas all over the area before you take it in and then have them replace it......because **** them it should be replaced before there's a problem not when there's a problem

yes, it doesnt matter if it was bought used or new.........its a recall, so you will still be entitled to the recall. they usually send out a letter, and while it may be 06 models, it may only be certain 06 models.
