Got my letter today, but havn't had any issues. Only had the prior 2 recalls done. Keeping the letter just in case. Might ask about it when I got for my next oil change and tire rotation though.

I've been smelling gas in my car every time i turn it on. It goes away after the start up, unless the fact that when driving it, it's behind me. I haven't gotten a letter yet. What should i do?

I'd probably call your closest GM dealer and see if they know anything about the recall/letter.

I just called my local Chevrolet dealership saying I had heard there was a recall on my vehicle. They registered my name (which wasn't done) and they said that there was 1 recall and it was concerning the power steering. I need to show up thursday morning this week for servicing. Never have they mentioned any other recall.
On this website it shows only 2 recalls: http://www.auto123.com/en/used-cars/...balt&year=2006

3 recalls..
Chevrolet results under Recalls & TSBs | AutoMD
Power Steering, Interior Trim (On non side airbag models), Fuel pump return port.
I get a flyer in the mail about once a month for the power steering recall. I've gone twice to two different dealers and they won't actually do the recall since 'my vehicle has not shown signs of a failed power steering motor'. As mentioned before, GM wants it to fail first before they fix it...

I have a Cobalt LT and SS. Neither were taking for any recalls as far as I'm aware. My local dealership is also full of douchebags. The Lt is completely stock, do they have to address all recalls no matter what? (Aside from fuel pump on the lt, doesn't smell) my SS on the other hand, has a catless coming soon, however idt any recalls were performed. And is it normal to smell fuel when the car first starts, she spits too, I have a code for rich exhaust. But it's stage 2 and I read they run rich.
