Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Anyone know how to remove this interior piece?

Anyone know how to remove this interior piece?

put the steering wheel all the way down and just pull. there are clips underneath. no screws

there are three phillips head screws underneath the steering column. then the top half and bottom half just pop apart from each other, and the bottom half also seperates into a left half and right half. hope this helps!

Not sure about the screws on this particular model/year, but on the 08/09 TC's there are 3 screws... just get underneath the steering column and make sure before yanking on it and breaking it

actually it did just pop right off. 2 clips lol. thanks for the helps guys

there all the same part number hombre.

well, now that this piece is off. whats the best way to get the bezel piece in and out without bending, scratching ****. i mean the piece that i just made a gauge pod for.

Steering wheel all the way down.. pull it straight towards you.. rotate it clockwise/counter-clockwise as you come to blinker/wiper handles.

I've done it a couple times now ;-)

Yeah I have to take that piece off and reattach it as well since from the dealer it was crooked (right side higher than the left). It looks like all the clips didn't snap into place.
