Autometer Boost Gauge Stuck at 5 PSI
I just got my 05 SC back from the dealer, they fixed the power steering issue. I just noticed a few days later, mid you, that the boost gauge is always at 5 psi and the light no longer comes on. As you all know when the car is off it rests down at the bottom of the guage lol.
1) Is this something i can hook back up ? It seems petty to go back to the dealer for that (the dealer is 45 minutes away and I can't take off a few hours from work for that.
2) the autometer gauge is stock for the supercharged coupe, right?

Yes... an Autometer Gauge comes stock in the Cobalt SS. Its design/appearance should look the same as the Speedo and Tach.
I don't remember where its wires go... but if a fuse was blown, I think that there would be more stuff not working that just the gauge. But just make sure you check BOTH fuse boxes... the one in the engine compartment and the one down my the Passenger foot area. I don't remember where it gets its power though.

the stock boost gauges are notorious for failing. My first one went bad about 2 years ago when the car only had 20k on it, I think that the replacement is starting to go bad now. the light in the gauge will start to flicker some, then the gauge dies. For the price, put in a mechanical as mentioned. I have one on stand by...

Buy one off of eBay from a seller with the name: "ihavethebestpriceperformance"... They literally has the best price that I have found. I've ordered 3 gauges from them. They are located in Florida and usually ship the gauge you buy the very next day, if not the same day. Always received my purchases within 3 days (in Ohio).
I personally have the Autometer ES Series 30vac/30psi Mechanical Gauge. It is VERY easy to hook up and I could probably guide you through it. The only Technical/hard part is wiring it in... but that's not really even all that hard. You just use the old gauge's power wire and then you have to make a ground, which is very easy to do with the metal a-pillar right there.
Here's mine at night...
