best place to get oil change?
Looking for a good place to get my oil changed on my 2010 SS. Don't know how to do myself.
I don't want to go to Chevy because I'm afraid they might void my warranty for my k&n intake and springs.
Is pepboys, meineke, or midas reliable?
THANKS

A dealer can not void your warranty for having a K&N and springs. The only time anything like that would even matter is if you go in for problem and that problem is specifically a result of the non GM part. Nobody will care if its lowered or has an aftermarket filter on it if all you want is an oil change. By the way make sure its a Mobil 1 oil change, that's what the SS takes bout 5 qts. as I recall.

Best place is in your garage, it's a piece of cake. Remove drain plug, remove oil filter, install drain plug, install new oil filter, fill with oil, you're done.

The cobalt is the easiest car ever to change the oil. The filter is right at the top and easy to get to. Just do it yourself. save yourself time and trouble, and not to be an ass but if you can't change oil you shouldn't be driving a turbo car.

I don't change my own oil for the simple fact that I don't want to deal with the mess and getting rid of the old oil.
Just buy your own oil and filter and take it to the dealership or any reliable local shop. Shouldn't cost much at all.

You could take your used oil to any reputable auto parts store and I they should be able to recycle it for you.

Too lazy? Jesus, it's a 20 minute job and with a decent jack you can do it about as fast as a lube place.
Of course mine takes an hour because i put it on a lift and inspect a few other things, but still
Don't be such lard asses and do the job right.
I have heard of several people not getting oil put back in their car. That makes me sick to even think about.

I honestly wouldn't trust any place to change my oil other than myself...unless I knew the person working on the car and I watched them the whole time...You buy a few simple tools and a jack with stands and you'll be able to change oil forever.
