best and worst chevy dealers for GMPP, warranty work and service
let's list the good and the bad CHEVY dealers so we all keep our BALT's on top running order w/o a headache!!!
Lattof Chevrolet (Crate Engine Depot)
Tom (Astromens) and his team at Lattof Chevrolet ROCK!
Y'all know they got the parts, well they do kick butt warranty work and GMPP intallation as well. They have an SC specialist "Danny" (he owns one too) who installed my GMPP Extrude Honed Exhaust Manifold last friday and it was done right the first time. Wooo Hooo!!!
They walked around the car to visually check the condition (like when you rent a car), to ensure that they returned the car in the condition that I dropped it off in. I had to pinch myself at the professionalism of the service department (I thought I was at a BMW or Lexus dealership). Where's my latte' ??? JK
They were all sooooo nice that I will be getting everything done there.
At this point I totally recommend bringing your GM product to the Tom & his team at Lattof for providing me w/ the best service that I have EVER experienced at a big 3 dealership. It's worth the trip for the piece of mind.

Bob Maguire Chevrolet in Bordentown, NJ gets my vote for the best in the area. They are a GMPP distributor and have great knowledge on all the performance parts, general parts, and the cars. They do great install work and they do it in a timely manner.

I have had everything done in my area at Feld in Bridgeton, MO. They have no problem doing any GMPP cobalt work, and will warranty it if they do it. They even commented before I got my TQ brace that I should get one and they had no problem with it being on the car.

BAD- LARICHE CHEVY; Findlay, OH ... Took 6 hours to install stage 2! Had car for 9 hours... and the mechanic STRIPPED one of the Pulley Ring Bolts... so now I can't take it off to put on the 2.8! Not to mention he scuffed the hell out of the Pulley ring itself! I'm PISSED!
Need to find a new one in NW Ohio...Findlay, Bowling Green, Toledo, Lima... Any help?

Tom Clark's Chevy McKeesport, Pa where I bought the car they have a very knowledge able cavalier and cobalt GMPP salesman Tony Rossi I even call him on the phone about questions I have. Service is good but the sales team can be douches.
Brown Bro's Cadillac and Chevrolet Louisville, Ky they do all my warrenty work, theyre ok, took them 3 times to replace the fuel pump when I told them it was bad, expensive on nonwarrenty labor, $99 alignments, 95$ an hour labor. They give me a hassle all the time about my warrenty not covering the problems but they usually fix it and they give me a rental which is kickass since I'm 19. Overall they're pretty good.

Bad: Bonner Chevrolet, Valley Chevrolet, Ken Pollock Chevrolet. Besides nt even being familiar with the cobalt ss platform. These dealerships refused to fix my car when the shift selecting pin broke after they told me it was perfectly fine. Among other reason s such as most everyone in the service and parts departments are ********.
Good: GM Superstore in Berwick PA... The only dealership that would help me !!!

good/bad --- Ramp chevy long island NY... great service dept just wouldn't work on my car
bad maybe? hustedt chevy east in centerreach NY--- waiting to see what the Gm rep does when they see my car... so far they are refusing to work on my car due to mods (intake, exhaust, heat exhanger) but I haven't heard back from them once I told them a rep was travelling to the dealerships to see the multiple (10+) cobalts in the shops for the same problem ... apparantly around 100 in the tristate area as I speak

Here's another GOOD one
Reedman-Toll - Langhorne, PA
Can do a full motor swap and fix paint defects in less than three days. They are also the type of dealership to go out of the way for you.
