Big oil leak problem!

Well I have a huge oil leak. I went up to Seattle Wa to visit family, so I checked all my fluids, all checked out on Friday night. Came back home yesterday night. Then Today I went to run around town, and when I came back home, I noticed a big ass oil spot on the driveway right were my car was parked the previous night. So I crawl under my car, and there was oil all over the bottom of my motor . Started looking around, and I found this one bolt, that I think is causing my leak. But I don't know where it goes, and or why it came out? But im so disappointed, hopefully its a easy fix, due to we have nice weather this whole week, and would like to enjoy it with the Balt. Help me out guys.

sure is a banjo bolt and the only one looks like that is on the main cooling system bleed line off the head, but its smaller in diameter iirc than your example.

If there's that much oil I'd think it wouldn't be too hard to find the source.

Problem is its all over the place. But I think I pin-pointed it to behind the alternator . I will be tearing into it tomorrow. Looks like its coming from up top, then going down, and covering the whole bottom of the car.

Never had it off for any reason, checked last night, and it was as dry as a bone at the cover.

I wish it was that simple. I already checked. But like I said there is oil all over the alternator, and ac compressor, ic pump, also a little bit on the intake manifold, so its starting to leak at the front of the motor.

That's a banjo bolt for oil or coolent feed/ drain line, in ur case most likely oil. If that's missing then where ever the line is coming from, ur oil is not returning to block but onto the ground. Please don't start ur car till it's back in, with gasket

I will not be starting my car till I fix it. But like I said I pulled the supercharger off, and looks like it might be leaking from there? Does this make sense? There is oil on the face of the supercharger, and the intake manifold.

I was still running like a champ when I got it home, I wouldn't have even noticed it was leaking oil till I saw a big ass oil stain on the driveway, car was NOT knocking or doing anything like that. But I wont be starting the car till its fixed.

Is there any oil on the snout of the supercharger? Or just were the intake and supercharger mate?

Just the supercharger mate, and intake. Think I might have just found the problem though. Dipstick tube is broken, and it looks like its leaking oil from there. But still doesn't explain where that banjo bolt came from.

maybe the banjo was on the ground from something else ?

possibly ever used it in the past and it was extra and it just happened to be laying somewhere in the bay then finally fell out ?

Maybe. Im going to start looking some more. See if I could find if it was just a extra or something. I have a feeling it was a extra, cause if not I think I would be starting a build thread, due to I drove the car over 50 miles yesterday till I came home then noticed the oil stain.
