What were your mods? And how did it happen... You only ran a 13.4 @ 108. That's really not that impressive (meaning your not putting down TONS of power). So how did it happen?

Sorry guys been busy for my first fathers day. No i dumped the clutch hard and apparently the burnout box was dry, and hence so were my tires after rolling through it. So yeah boom. Still ran 2 more passes in the the 13's but i noticed the mph wasnt there and it felt odd. Started smoking , i took the car home and got under it. It appears all the fluid is gone, havent gotten it in the air yet but ill update with pics later.

No wheel hop was involved, too much power and hooking up
Yeah i have both front and rear mounts, i was also on street tires lol, are setups arent the same. BYT runs drag radials, and no mounts.

The pass i made at 13.4 was with the tranny leaking fluid and screaming like a had a supercharger but i didnt let off cause a honda woulda had the win. I said **** it and kept hammering it.
Thanks for the sympathy, it was my own fault i should have made sure the box was wet.

It's all good, like everyone here who pushes there cars as hard as they can eventually you find the weak link in the system, I had the clutch, so instead the tranny took a ****. Just means its time to look into building the trans up.

I was scrubbing the tires off thanks, obviously it was my fault which i previously stated. I deleted my nasty response, i went through it cause the pit has a gravel spot on the way back up to the staging lanes, i was trying to get the nice thick dust of the tires. I have never ever burned my tires even a little, very rarely do i even spin em at all to scrub em.
