So recently I have this problem where I can only boost 3-4lbs, so I disconnect the boost-vac line from the boost-by-pass valve and what do you know full boost So I go to my dealer and tell them the problem and they replace the sensor. When I get the car back I have the same issue, once again I take the boost vac line and I have full boost again (essentially the boost by-pass mod). So now I'm thinking could it be the valve itself?

The Boost-by-pass valve is circled in red.

Where can I find the replacement part? I've looked on gmparts direct and they only have the sensor for replacement.

Found the part number! gm p/n 12591349 and its 125 bucks..... sucks

did you try unhooking the battery and letting it go dead, mine done this before and this fixed it

Lol, it'll be here tomorrow. I've sold a couple, I found another one the other day when looking for something else in the garage. Didn't think I had anymore.
