Boost Problem in BFE

Gents I'm in the desert till Tuesday and have an issue with that vacuum control valve on the M62. Last night boost was only 2 psi. It seemed like the valve or butterfly was sticking so I loosened the two 10mm bolts and moved it. Now it runs at 5 psi and intermittently it will go to full boost. It breaks up or misses once in a while as well. We are on a lunch break and I'm about to pull it off to see if it's the butterfly or valve sticking. It looks cocked because I dicked with it at night. Can sombody school me with how this thing should be adjusted or mounted or any trouble shooting tips? Thanks

The top bushing on the butterfly was gummed up. Got that fixed. If there is a proper adjustment I can do it on the next stop. ??

Ran into these guys but could not keep up. 3 world records. Thanks Bob (guy in red shirt) and Paul the Honda guy) for dialing it right in. Fresh plugs and clean maf. 11.5 boost and it screams. Sorry for the dumb question. I'm an abuser/user/driver more than an engine tech.
