Brake System Issues
I have a 2008 turbo, I got in back in June. Now it seems as though my driver side brakes are screeching when i stop. I checked the brake pads and they are fine on all 4 wheels. I'm worried that it might be the calipers or rotor. It only screeches on the driver side. Can anyone give me an idea of what might be causing the screeching?

i heard in other post that this is a common problem on the 08 (but what isnt a common problem with cobalts..again sorry )
Check for recall, ibelieve I read something on a recall with 08's and brembo brakes .
But I could be wrong on recall but i read there was a problem
Good luck

You have to use those brakes like what they were meant for.
Go into the corners a little harder and come out fast ,That should help.
What Im saying is brake with firmer pressure without locking them up(Locking the wheels will warp the rotors if donr repeatedly) when you drive. You dont have to do this all the time ,but most people tend to ride them softly and that will cause this sqealing.
Stop and go traffic driving type braking is the worst.
