cam and crank position sensor?

k seems my car is weak as hell.

Got a cam and crank position sensor (codes) at the same time letting me know that something is up. I will floor it and my AFR will go to 8-10 and i will lose power beyond 5k rpm according to my hptuners.

It really feels like a piece of ****, no reduced power mode or anything (maybe because i have a 2005) but it is just ******* like a prius when i floor it. Its hard to start as well. Generally a turn of the key and it will rip right up. Now..... first try i get a backfire. 2nd it will start. I can drive it fine as long as i dont get beyond 5 lbs boost but after that.... tough ****.

Anyone ever heard of this or can advise me on what is going on?

n/m seems my timing chain jumped a tooth or something.... ill know more after i go back to stock and take it in.

I looked at my hptuners and it tried to command 30.5 degrees of timing in some spots..... WITHOUT METHANOL turned on.

My tune commands 22 degrees max currently. 25 with methanol (but it isnt used)

From what you said i have seen many cars that have spark issues or timing issues that have the same symptoms

i first thought it was a coilpack or spark plug. Then i saw my 30 degree timing commanded when my tune states only 21 at the end of the rpm band.

also bad cam and crank position sensor at once? ....definitley timing.

if your timing jump you might have bent some ****, valves. idk if these cars have interference engines. probably. because they are smaller.
dad says if you jump timing you can ruin your engine in these newer cars. b/c they are interference
