boost actuator? I think they meant your boost bypass valve, or your boost bypass solenoid.

bypass valve = the black cylinder like object mounted to the inlet of your blower
bypass solenoid = small box mounted next to the evap solenoid on the driver side of the valve cover. has rubber vac lines going in and out.

sorry dont have any pics. but if you have half a brain you can find what im describing

ya...I kinda figured the bypass was the black cylinder thing on the supercharger...but I have never seen the box on the drivers side...but then again I have never really looked for it. I am running 0 pounds of boost at full throttle and someone said its prob my boost bypass valve...which one would cause this..the box by the drivers side..or the actual soloniod on the sueprcharger?

technically both could cause it. if the solenoid is open it will pull boost all the time. and if the actuator is stuck open it will do the same.

just pull the vac line off the back of the solenoid (the one mounted on the side of the evap) and plug the line. take it for a drive. if it builds boost then the solenoid is shot.

well...i tried a lot of things. I pulled the one hose off the soloniod on the side of the engine (drivers side), clamped it and nothing happened...still 0-3 pounds. The i pulled the hose off and clamped it (from supercharger to bypass valve) and still nothing. So im guessing I have a bigger problem. You think my supercharger is shot?

like i said. check the arm coming out of the actuator. with the engine off, pull on it and see if it will open and close. it will take a decent amount of force to move it, but that will tell you if thats the problem
