Cant open trunk

alright so heres the problem.. had battery out of my car as i didnt drive it this winter and today i went to go put the battery bak in but i cannot get the trunk open.. the key wont woke for some reason i tried lock deicyer and everything.... is there any other way to do it

your trunk pop button by the steering wheel not work either? crawl thru your back seat and pull the emergency latch.

Open the hood, hook up a battery as it you were boosting it, press release button on fob or dash. ..trunk should pop open.

trunk pop button wont work with the battery out.

I was just thinking the same thing, just use another car hook up jumper cables, unlock everything.

Yeah theres a positive battery post under the hood. You can hook up a charger to that and put the negative on the block or chassis.

good idea, i cant pull another car up to where it is but ill try jumpingf with just the battery.. will let you guys know how it went in a bit

Here's what I would do if your key don't even work, take a lighter... Pull down on the ignition for the lighter and start the flame, put key in flame, heat key up "not red hot" and slide into lock. Unlock car..

A friend of mine had the same problem. If your arm is long enough, you can reach between your seats to let one of the seats down and then crawl in the trunk and pull the emergency latch to get the trunk open. I've done it and I know it works. Hope this helps.
