Car won't start, ton of codes, don't know where to begin
I need some help, I finished my thermostat today and went for a drive after to bleed the system. While I was driving my temp's went crazy, saying up to 223, I immediately pulled over and turned the car off. The engine was not as hot as 223 so I'm not sure why it said that, I was able to touch the engine. Now the car isn't starting and I have these codes.
P0121
P0340
P0201
P0202
P0203
P0204
P0341
P0121
P0340
P0201
P0202
P0203
P0204
P0341

How did you bleed the system?
All those codes, try clearing codes and starting it, shake the harnesses while cranking, the codes seem to be related to shorts. Which can't suddenly happen after a thermostat replacement.
Did you disconnect anything besides the ECT sensor?

p0121 is throttle position sensor a circuit fault
p0201, p0202, p0203, p0204 are injector circuit faults
p0340 and p0341 are cam position sensor.
i would clear the codes and see what comes back right away. then start with checking the connectors and for pinched wires. the injector harness plug and cam sensor are all near where you were working on the t-stat. the injector codes would be the ones causing it not to run, an active cam sensor code will default the car to run off just the crank sensor, and the throttle position sensor may cause it to go into limp mode, but the injector circuits will cause a no run situation, at least with all 4 of them having a fault.
and id bet it has an airlock, hence why it got to 223f. and just for the record, thats not that hot for a modern engine, they can hit 240 before you need to worry.

I guess tonight I'll have to look for loose wires, and check the injector harness and go from there. If those are causing it not to run I'll worry about the P0121 after I fix that.
