Yes they certainly do, mine actually has a couple drips in the clear coat, it it wasn't clear coated it would look and feel like the inside of the door sill, that would be very nasty.

It's funny you put it that way, mine kinda does and the swirls on the paint from just a couple of washs are enough to make a car freak like myself puke!!
I am gonna have to hit it with some Zaino and hope she cleans up a bit or it's trade in city for this thing!
