Click While Breaking???

Does anyone know what this could be:

When my 2.2 is in park, and I step on the break, there's a click that comes from the shifter (atx). It only does this in park, if I put it anywhere else it won't do it. It's not loud, but you can feel it if you have your hand on the shifter. The knob that you push in to move the shifter feels like it moves a little bit. Anyone that helps will get oreos and milk

ITs the electronic controller that allows you to put the car in gear only if you have your foot on the brake.

My escort did it too. Maybe you just noticed it now but I am sure that is what it is.
