clunking over bumps?

So I didn't know exactly where to put this seeing how I am not sure of the cause, but when I go over a small bump I think my exhaust bangs on the chassis or something. First I thought it was my rear springs, but when I go to get into first sometimes it rattles (kinda like a raspy metal banging that shakes the car) like a ****. Im sure I had a post on this before, but I wanted to know if anyone had a similar problem like this after putting their exhaust on.. my exhaust is a 3" as the added diameter probably aids it in bumping into ****.

I had the same problem when I installed a Tsudo on my 2.2, I just got some bigger rubber hangers and now the noise is gone.

what exhaust do you have you probably need smaller hangers because the exhaust is hitting the rear cross member

that rattle may be the heat shield just get under your car where the exhaust bends after the resonator and it wolf be hitting there. the clunk is from the exhaust hitting your rear axle most likely longer hangers would make this worse not better

I meant the exhaust tip.
Mine was close to the bumper and it made a noise when idling at a stop light.

ya it basically is nearly touching the bumper. If I stick my arm where the cross member is or just next to the rear spring and shake it, it seems the noise is coming from the muffler, but all the hangers are attached and in the right spot..
