Cobalt SS TC Blower Fan Problem

Hi guys, looked around the forums but didn't find a clear answer to my problem.

Here is my issue : the blower fan (HVAC) is always on, even if set on the "0" position, it goes as follows :

Positions 0-1-2 seem to run like its on position 2
Positions 3 and 4 run normally

I wonder if it could be the relay or the blower motor resistor.

Thanks in advance for your help, much appreciated! Winter is coming and I need this fixed

I've seen issues on other cars (eg Trailblazer/Envoy) with similar symptoms that end up being the resistor.

like he said, typically the resistor that causes that problem

Thread revival. Received the resistor, installed it, but speed 2 still doesn't work. Any insights? Maybe a connection behind the center unit behind the speed selector button?

It's possible the HVAC control is bad but you would be the first ive heard of that happening.

Issue was a burnt wire behind the control unit that controlled the speed 2. Thanks for the help!
