cold starting with boost loss

so i took a 14 hour drive from missouri to colorado staying here for a few days but as soon as my car started this morning it died and tried again it died then turn the ac on sits at 1300 then smoothes out im ready to go. driving down the highway try a second gear pull car runs like dogshit 11 psi nothin. so the car has 2.8 60's intake h/e. now with all that said i am in the mountains high altitude i can feel it when i breathe and when i left t was 85 now try snowing and 32 good temp change in one day. if anyone can help me out let me know

You are probably running real lean if you where tuned in missouri High altitude and the cold.
Take it easy on the car until you get back to conditions the car is tuned for.

Actually a tuned car, taken from low elevation to high elevation is going to be rich . The thinner air up high will show less boost as well.

ya my wideband is reading out like 10.4 at full throttle. i just really need to find out this cold start thing. its starting but ideling so rough i want to shut the car off

Can you smell fuel or a real rich exhaust odor ? Wonder if it's trying to flood it self at idle?
