Coupe door rubbing?
Anyone getting this problem? It seems my door is improperly fitted, so if there's any dirt or anything on it when I open it, the bottom rubs against the frame... Think right down on the bottom of the door, closest to the engine.
I kept hearing a grinding when I opened the door and brushed it off, until I looked closer and saw a 1.5" long strip with no paint; right down to the metal.
I'm taking the thing in to the dealer to see what they can do... I have no idea if they can re-align the door.
Once again, thank you to the UAW for a wonderfully built car Little things like this aren't enough to make me regret my purchase, but this kind of bullshit is frustrating none the less.
Anyone else have this issue?

my 08ls had the driver's side door misaligned too when i got it, but mine wouldnt close cause the lock would not latch without me closing the door very hard. i took it in and they looked at it and said that they fixed it, worked for 2 days and it happened again...took back in and they fixed it...but it's not as good as i want it. that's what we get by not spending 30G on a car.

i dont think you need to spend 30 grand on a car for the damn doors not to rub, this is something you expect from a chinese auto maker, not 100grand a year employees!
