Tom,
I put in my new MAF last night. I drove it to work today, really didn't notice any difference. When I pulled the old one, the wires/resistors that you can see through the small hole looked ok. I compared it to the new one and noticed that they were a little "browner" in color. I would guess that might be the oil residue that was baked onto it. It was cleaned prior to installing the GMPP, so it would have been cleaned from any current oil. any residue showing would have been left over from the cleaning (or baked on). Tomorrow I am going to get new plugs and fuel filter installed (and hopefully they will replace my grill since they spilled something on it and stained it last service visit - probably injector cleaner).
I will keep you informed.

Car seems OK. I now have new plugs and fuel filter in (had them installed on Monday). Actually runs pretty strong now. Tonight I will be putting the GMPP back on and see what happens (it has been 2 weeks as promised to the dealership). I definately need to look into the lower motor mount issue (since you said yours was already trashed). How many mile do you got?
One thing I noticed about the old plugs (since I asked for them back) was that the threads were covered in oil. Dealership couldn't explain it. Plugs looked OK, though (maybe had a little excess carbon build-up for only 19k miles-could be from the 3 injector cleans done though). Their theory was that the oil was probably there from the assembly process, since it was not above the threads and only on the threads (it did not look like it came from the head leaking down in any way). I guess I am used to doing my plugs with some anti-sieze, not motor oil. But these are aluminum heads...who knows? I wouldn't know what an aluminum heads feels like on the Prix (at least not yet ).
We will see what the GMPP intake does to the car after I re-install it. Stay tuned.
