Crank Chain Gear keyway groove on LSJ missing????
I went to put on my new cranm gear that came with the balance shaft tensioner and chain and the keyway groove is missing. The slot that you slide the gear and harmonic balancer on. Wtf

Am I just retarded is something really wrong.

Its missing. I swore it was just there and now its gone. Can the key come out or move at all?

Yeah the key is a removable piece, it's probably laying on the ground somewhere. Or it could be inside your oil pan. It's magnetic, go in there with a long magnet and you should be able to fish it out.

The oil pan is off. I have tried looking everywhere and its not there.

At least its removeable now I know its here somewhere.
