Crankshaft Position Sensor (car died, no start)

I never posted here, but I had my own problem with this stupid sensor.
There is a fantastic writeup on RLF to change this thing.
Car would get up to operating temp, then when out of gear (gear change/coast) my engine would shut off. You were able to get the engine back started by popping the clutch, if you were still rolling.
Symptoms prior to this was RPMs would drop for just a second, like the engine cut, then go back up. Didn't know what it was at the time. The car almost through me into a guard railing getting off the high way when the engine cut out, going about 80. Had to push it off an off ramp, while cars were flying up on my ass.
My car ran fine and threw no codes after I changed the sensor, but I went to the dealership anyway to have a relearn done. Cost me $50.

p0017 is a camshaft/crankshaft correlation code. Means the PCM isn't seeing them move in the pattern it should. Possible to have a bad cam sensor or have it mis-timed if you have ever had it apart, or have a timing chain jump and the cam moved, lots of reasons this can come up. Rarely does it show by itself unless there was prior work done and something was put together wrong.

It was p0017 correlation bank 1 position b and i figured the one near starter need to be replaced but i called the pepboys they have to take the starter off and replace the coolant also smh

So i took my car to the shop and get both sensor replaced and still CEL is on wtf!! I just drop $415 for everything car starts right away no stalling the mechanic said something wrong with my pcm or ground WTF HELP!!

Yeah CEL is on idk what codes but i think its p0017 so tomrrw i gotta argue with the ppl from firestone just to clear the codes cos i know they gonna say they cant do anything but i just pay them $420 smh

UPDATE to my status took my car to the dealer and they said my TIMING Chain ,Guide & Tensioner needs a replacement because its loose thats why my car still throwing codes (p0341&p0017) so now im taking this car to my mechanic and get this replace hopefully my CEL will come off any ideas and opinion let me know guys!!

Update: after 2weeks of tryna figure out whats wrong with my car the guy thinks its not my timing chain the car was diagnosed and check the wiring it was complete circuit he thinks i have a bad pcm like the firestone said at first time and might need to tell the chevy dealer to reflashed my pcm is this possible that could happened??

Finally got my car back from the dealer its not my timing chain nor PCM its the adapter from the cam sensor had a short circuit well got it replace problem solve car went back running!! Thanks to PELLEGRINO dealership smh for making me spend $600
