i didn't touch the brake, i stayed on the gas hoping it would stick the turn, yea i just took the turn too fast for the conditions.. i'm having trouble finding these rims because they are discontinued.

The high rise obviously caused way too much downforce causing the spin out

i know.. i wasn't happy with the rear drop, the tires are only 215/35/18 so it makes the well look bigger.

TENZOs they claim 2" front, 2.5" rear

the LS was a lot worse then it looks now. i measured the rear drop and it dropped 2" not 2.5

No need for everyone to be hassling the poor guy. Off and On ramps are typically very slick, alot of oil and gunk builds up on them and also alot of oil and gunk washes ONTO them from rain. You see people bump the curbs on the ramps all the times not thinking about how slick it will be. I can guarantee he will be more careful when the roads are wet from now on.

yea tell me about it i went with sportlines and they claim the same. but good luck finding the rims man

no they are stock painted calipers with brembo stickers, lol so yea, i have "brembos"

okay so the dealership ordered the parts today and said they would only take a day or so to get here, it was only 3 parts, steer knuckle, CV joints and tie rod if I remember correcty, so it wasn't that bad. I think it's worst because i was going pretty fast, hope theres nothing wrong with the axel or trans because i want to get up and running ASAP. i'll be rolling on stockers for the time being which sucks. oh well, i need my insurance company to buy me new rims and tires = to the valuve of the ones damaged because noone has these in stock anymore. so if i can get $600 or so towards new rims nd tires i'm definatly going TSW 19s with 225/40 tiresr, it will look soo bad ass. if they cant get rims and tires maybe i'll have the dealership order my and SS rear lip, side skirts and LT/SS bumper and lip. who knows. i hope i get reimbursed for my rims, i bought them used and don't have an official reciept

parts will all be here tomorrow, i hope i'm rolling tomorrow, if not saturday at the lastest because the service shop is closed on sunday. what a drag... they needed more parts then originally expected, but atleast they're workig on it and over nighting the parts

Um...you have no traction in the rain because you're driving on 35s? I can't tell what the size of your tires are...but they aren't 45s so it's lower than that. What is the purpose or running such thin tires on those wheels? Usually people go with thinner tires when they up the size of their rims but those look like 16's or 17's. What size tires are those...for 17's I run 215 45 17 for 16s I run 205 55 16 (winter).

the rims are 18's, why does the height of the tire have anything to do with transaction? it doesnt change the thread depth and they're wider then stock. i think those tires have better ratings then stock tires for traction.

well guys, GREAT NEWS!
#1 My insurance didn't go up
#2 my car's back to perfect condition
#3 We started with a $500 deuctable, but i didn't use their loaner car so i got $10 a day back, which resulted in a $60 check, so we're left with $440 to pay..
- turns out that even though i bought the rims and tires used for $430, I got a quote from a local shop for 4 tires, 4 rim, 4 stems all equalling roughly $1150 and sent that quote to my insurance company.
- in return, the insurance company contacted NTB about the claim and they stated it was a true quote for the rims I had shown them. RESULT: My insurnace company refnded me to 2 rims, 2 tires, 2 stems.. they wrote me a $577 check which was more then the deductable!!!


and i'm left with 4 tires and 2 rims

so even though my cars in perfect condition, i bought the SS body kit, i'm getting it painted tomorrow
