Creaking noise from front (brakes applied)

Hey everyone,

My girlfriends 09 G5 has been making a noise for a little while now, its starting to get more noticeable now.

Push the brake and as the car slows down you hear a creaking noise. First i thought it was a caliper so i checked and its coming from the passenger side but its not the caliper.

My thoughts are sway bar bushings or sway bar links? But i checked and they do not feel like they have any wiggle or play. Kinda stumped so any ideas?

mine does this too, if im thinking of the same sound. I greased the pads where they ride in the caliper and it went away

Sounds like the front struts to me. My 2006 LS L61 m/t does the same thing and the first time it did it was still in warranty and it did it again a few years after the replacement and 6 years later they finally leaking so they need to be replaced now. LoL
