well i work at autozone and some lady had me test her battery to see if it was good, it was a 06 ls sedan, and she said that she felt that it didnt accelarate as good, i personally thought it would be b/c in total they ha 3 200+ pound people the car, but didnt say that, but when she opened the trunk(wich she didnt even know the battery was there, i had to tell her), so she opened the trunk, i checked the battery, battery good, diodes good, charging system good, all good, the didnt throw any codes, so i told her the car was fine, did i do the right thing by sending her on her way, cuz now that i think of it, could there have been something wrong, i personally put it on all the weight...plus she had a lot of junk in the trunk(and i mean alot, we had to take alot of **** out just to lift the trunk mat...)

i charge 80 bux to diagnose drivability and MIL issues, ur only at fault when u convince ppl to buy parts to make the codes go away if incorrect, ie wasting their money that could be better spent in your store, which would only hurt ur own business
but as mentioned, you dont make anything off it anyway so dont worry ur little head about it
hell they dont pay me enough to care about it if minor issue, i just do it to make ppl happy/make more money later...

The right thing to do in your case so you do not get in trouble is to simply have told her that there is nothing wrong with her battery or charging system. tell her that you do not know what the problem is and that she should take it to a mechanic. Then you have been helpful while assuming no liablity at all and she will thank you for it.
