Great news!! I Talked to the owner of the dealership today and they are going to install my clutch and flywheel at a discounted price and i can get my LSD installed at the same time so that will be cheaper as well. I was stern with him and he finally said he could do this for me.

He told me its a 6.5 hour job and their usual rate that they charge GM is 75/hour. He said for me he would do $52/hour so like 33% off. It'll only cost me 300 to do the flywheel and clutch and with the tranny already out it will only cost me 500 to install the limited slip/

The guys that drive the cars off the train also test the cars on the way to park them.

Ok so your car had a little wheel spin like you NEVER do that.

Vehicle abuse can happen at ANY repair shop It happen everywhere everyday not just dealerships.

I know when I abuse a customers car.. there are no witneses... I'm professional

There is a difference between me abusing it and someone else abusing it, if something goes wrong and it because something i've done no problem but if something breaks due to someone elses mis-handling then i do have a problem with it. I put out the money to pay for it, its not theirs to abuse or do anything to other than fix it.

the dealerships are seperate entities. and i doubt gm can do anything about how they are acting since they cant make them stop "adjusting" prices for the market. its on a dealer by dealer basis. write a letter to the biggest paper in town, call the news and report that several peoples cars may be trashed by a local dealer that cant keep a handle on its employees. thats why theyre always asking if you need a ride somewhere. they want to know if youll be around. i go there for all my warranty work and 3000 mile checkups just to get the papers for when i resell the car later so i can get more for having a full maint. record.

write a letter detailing all the parts, installs you were 'planning' on purchasing from them with a total dollar amount and I bet you get a response.

I will only drive a customers car hard if they are with me and tell me to, or if they have traded the car in and we now own it, because then its dealer property and i'm responsible. I never intentionally abuse any car though. I just like to drive anything i can to gain a better feel for the car.
