Thumbs down dealership problem

so as some of yea know my car has the tran gone they say that the gear in the diff has wore down and the filings fucked up my tran and now they are not goin to fix it for me well they will but it will cost me alot of money the warrenty is not going to hold up too it because they said it was done to spining the tires lol

so my question is, is there a way to check if the tran and gears that are in my car belong to my car and my car only because what i think is going on is they are trying to get somebody elses tran under my warrenty and trying to get me to pay for it because when i was there today i decided to talk to a diffrent person and he told me there was anothere 2007 cobalt ss that had the trann gone and was theying to get it fixed so

dont this sound a little fucked to anyone besides me anyways if anybody knows how i can check is the trann they say that is all fucked up really do belong to my car and not somebody elses

If I remember, you have a 2.4 Cobalt? If the SS in question is a s/c model, it's a completely different transmission, and your theory wouldn't hold.

I also did mention in your other thread right away that it's probably from doing 1-wheel-peels...looks like the dealership agrees. Not saying that's what you did, but that's what the signs point to. Either way, good luck getting your ride fixed.

Well my old SS/SC was in the same position at one point, but the tranny was cracked at the track. They didn't cover my tranny under warranty because they said it was caused by my alchohol injection. Dealerships are just stupid.
